PADI Tec Sidemount Diver
The PADI Tec Sidemount Diver course offers the same benefits as the PADI Sidemount Diver course. It also gives you the opportunity to dive with more than two sidemounts for extended dive times.
The PADI Tec Sidemount Diver course is a great way to get started into technical diving. The skills you learn in this course will train you to handle multiple cylinders on a single dive. You can combine what you learn in the Tec Sidemount Diver course with other open-circuit tec courses that you take, or certifications you've already earned, to take advantage of sidemount's cylinder configuration and handling advantages. Your instructor may offer to integrate this course with the Tec 40, Tec 45 or Tec 50 courses. If you're a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, at least 18 years old and have a minimum of 30 logged dives, you qualify to enroll in a Tec Sidemount Diver course. It's recommended that you also have a PADI Enriched Air Diver certification.
PADI Tec Sidemount Diver what will I do?
You'll learn about the advantages of diving with a sidemount configuration and how to set up a tec sidemount harness. You'll get hands-on training during one confined water session and four open water dives. During these dives you'll start with two tanks and add at least two more. Maybe even getting to six sidemounted cylinders.

Get the PADI Sidemount Diver and Tec Sidemount Diver Manual from us here at Dream Divers and start studying immediately. If you have a recreational sidemount diver certification, you'll focus on Chapters Two and Three, if not, you'll read the entire manual. Then its off to the pool to start your Skill Development sessions before going to open water.
