With PADI being a global organisation, you have the option of splitting your PADI Open Diver Course into segments.
What will I do?
The PADI Open Water Diver Referral course consists of two main phases:
Knowledge Development
Self-study knowledge development and 2 classroom sessions
Confined Water Dives
5 dives in a pool to learn the basic scuba skills Leaving the final qualifying open water dives to be completed at a later date, either with us at a more convenient time for you, or abroad on your next holiday! If you don't have a trip booked, we can even put you in touch with our sister Dive Centre in Malta if you are looking for somewhere to finish your course in warmer waters. If you've tried diving through a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, the skills you learned may be credited towards a portion of the full PADI Open Water Referral course.
What scuba gear will I use?
We will provide all your basic scuba diving equipment, including: mask, snorkel and fins, a buoyancy compensating jacket that also carries your scuba tank, a scuba regulator to breathe from, instrumentation to monitor depth and air supply and a wetsuit for your pool dives.
